the game runs 60 fps fine but for some reason the game is always streaming in stuff. Luckily it looks almost exactly like the original Bioshock 2, so you might as well reinstall and play that version instead. Guess I'm gonna give up playing the second game for now because it's even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up than the first one. When I move through the areas, the HDD readout is constant and the game stutters like crazy, probably due to texture streaming or something - with 8 gigs of ram on board for 6-9 year old games, that had their graphics barely upgraded, this is pathetic. Plus it has some serious graphical glitches, with artifacts glued to the crosshairs, which cover half the screen. Strangely enough, in Bioshock 1 it stopped after a while and I managed to get through the entire thing without any major hiccups but I just played Bioshock 2 for about an hour and it's damn near unplayable. For me the framerate is buttery smooth but the stuttering is the real issue here.
